School started two weeks ago and in less than a year Jason will graduate! Jason has a few classes in his major, Hospitality Business Management. One of them in particular he said is the best class he has ever taken at WSU. The class focuses on studying retirement homes and hospitality within retirement living. He doesn't have one professor for the class but several CEO's participate and educate in the class. He really enjoys going to class.
Jason is minoring in Spanish but is not sure about the Spanish course he enrolled into this term. English is not allowed in the class and he feels slightly overwhelmed about it. He said that most of the students in the class are Spanish majors and he feels they understand it better than he does which makes him feel a little "stupid". He will do just fine in the class, it just takes practice and patience. He does enjoy Spanish but this class is just a little different and not what he expected.
Jason is also learning all about insects this term to finish off his last science requirement. He is taking Entomology just like Andrea did her last year at WSU. His ongoing project in Entomology is to observe a caterpillar. After bring it home the first week it has already doubled its size times 10. This thing grows like crazy. Too bad it won't be a beautiful butterfly because our new pet is going to turn into a moth eventually. By the way Jason named him Archie.

July to August Update (From Pullman to Florida and all across Washington)
July started with some rest and relaxation for Andrea. She had a 6 day weekend and enjoyed her last day with some fireworks for the 4th of July celebration. Last year we went to the park where there is a huge firework show but with the pups we decided to stay back and celebrate with friends. We bought some fireworks to light off throughout the day. By night we took the pomeranians to the ridge overlooking Pullman and we watched the firework show from a distance.
Jason did summmer school from May to the end of July. His summer relaxation wasn't very long but it started with a big vacation to Disney World.
As soon as classes were out for summer and work was over for Andrea we headed to the west side for some family time before the big trip. Jason's family was going to watch the pomeranians for us while we were at Disney World so they came with us to the west side. The first day there Andrea went to a baby shower for Jessica, Jason's sister. Jessica is expecting a baby boy in a month now and we are excited to be an Aunt and Uncle for the first time! Jessica is naming her baby boy Ryder and he is already spoiled with love! We bought Jessica and Ryder a jogging stroller. Prada was invited to the shower too and she got her cousin a scrapbook album.
We left the next morning for Florida. We were heading to Florida on July 31, our anniversary, so most of our 2nd anniversary was spent on a plane. Part of the time Andrea was freaking out thinking it would be the end! We got caught above a thunder storm trying to land in Orlando, Florida. This delayed us about 2 hours total. We were late for our dinner reservations but everything worked out in the end. We stayed at the Disney Resort- The Contemporary. Our anniversary dinner was at the California Grill. It was an amazing dinner but they helped to make out anniversary extra special. Little Mickey Mouse face confetti covered the table and finally for dessert we had an extra chocolate piece that read "happy anniversary". Before heading to bed we watched the fireworks from Magic Kingdom.
Some highlights from Magic Kingdom were the rides. We really enjoyed splash mountain and went on it 3 times, Andrea thought she would die one time when the handle bar wouldnt lock and we were seating right in front as we dove down 50 feet or so. We also enjoyed the buzz light year ride. At Epcot the highlight was the ride Test Track and all the food. Jason loved the Canadian restaurant, Le Cellier, a steak house. At Hollywood Studios we were treated like celebrities quite often but really enjoyed the ride Toy Story Mania and the show American Idol. Animal Kingdom was also fun of course with the animals and the rides. Andrea started the morning getting soaked on the ride River Rapids.
It was extremely hot there for us. Going to the water park Tyhoon Lagoon was quite nice because it kept us cool that day which was one of the hotter days. Jason really enjoyed the tidal wave but didn't enjoy the sun burn. We both got really burnt that day!!
We were at Disney for about a week. We were glad to come home to the pomeranians but we can't wait to go back again in the future! Everything went really well with the trip. The only downside that we couldn't really control was that Andrea started to get a little sick at the end.

We went with her parents but had a lot of time to ourselves. Mostly we just met up with her parents for dinner. We really loved the expereince and the food we over indulged in!

Just over a week later we had the Butcherite family reunion in Wenatchee. Andrea was able to take Friday off from work so we could head over and spend more time with the family. On Friday we went to Lake Chelan to jump on a water trampoline then to a water park. Saturday we went to the river for boating, rafting, and riding on the jet ski! The pomeranians came to the family reunion as well and we are quite sure they had fun and enjoyed all the attention.
Tomorow Andrea goes back to work and Jason starts school for the fall term. This will be Jason's last year at WSU and then he will graduate May 2012. This fall term Jason will be working hard with 18 credits.

A walk in the park
Nothing too exciting this week. Jason had today off so we spent some time at the park with the pomeranians... and by the end the poms were pooped!
Tonight the observatory is open and Andrea is excited to check out the stars!

Happy Memorial Weekend
This week as we prepared for memorial weekend there was plently for the puppies to like and dislike about the week.
Prada and Bentley discorvered they loved ice. Bobbing for ice in water, playing with ice, and licking ice like it is a puppy popcicle.
PROS:
* Shopped, Shopped, and shopped!
Andrea got 6 shirts, 4 jeans, 2 shorts, 2 sandals, and 1 dress. Jason bought 2 shirts, 2 jeans, and 2 shorts.

* Jason golfed while Andrea did some more shopping
CONS:
* The ride was 5 hours and about $60 gas one way
* Prada and Bentley did not like us shopping, they whined when we left.
* Prada would wake up wanting to play at 5 AM
By the end of the trip Prada and Bentley were ready to go home.
The weekend went by quick but Prada and Bentley seemed happy to head home and relax. Time for work and school again!
